North Island

Kawaha Point Lodge, Rotorua

This beautifully restored family owned retreat located on the shores of Lake Rotorua, 5 minutes from the town centre, in an acre of mature gardens. The 8 king and queen guest rooms are luxuriously furnished and have garden or lake views.

Facilities: Private jetty, swimming pool, sauna, croquet and petanque.

Huka Lodge, Taupo

This luxurious award winning retreat is one of the world's very best, offering exceptional standards of hospitality, cuisine and accommodation. The lodge is situated in 17 acres of parkland on the banks of the Waikato River, 7kms from Taupo. There are just 20 spacious suites, set amongst towering trees and within 20 metres of the river. In the evening guests gather in the Lodge room for cocktails before enjoying a superb 5 course dinner. Dinner can be taken in the dinning room, wine cellar, on the terrace or at a private table under the stars.

Wharekauhau Country Estate, near Wellington

This luxurious Lodge is on a 5,000 acre working sheep station and is either a 1.5 hour drive from Wellington or a 10 minute flight by helicopter.The main lodge is styled on an Edwardian country mansion and the guest accommodation is in charming cottages with magnificent views of Palliser Bay. Each cottage has a king size 4-poster bed, open fireplace and fully stocked bar.

South Island

Timara Lodge, Blenheim

This elegantly furnished 1920's country homestead, just 10 minutes drive from Blenheim, is set within an English style 25 acre garden. There are 4 en-suite bedrooms, 2 doubles and 2 twins.

Grasmere Lodge, near Christchurch

90 minutes from Christchurch and 30 minutes from Arthurs Pass, this high country retreat sits amongst towering peaks on a traditional 13.000 high country station. The stone homestead is the original, built in 1858 and subsequently extended to accommodate up to 20 guests in exceptional comfort.The lodge is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World
