Accommodation Passes in New Zealand

There are over 1900 motel apartments across New Zealand and they provide ideal accommodation for self drive travellers. We have chosen 5 types of passes which offer the highest standards in the various price ranges to suit individual tastes and budgets.These include hotels, motor inns, serviced apartments, Farm & Country Homestays and B&B's found in popular destinations on major routes. Passes must be purchased prior to departure from the UK as they are not available for sale within New Zealand. Passes can be left open to offer you the freedom of choice when you are travelling within New Zealand, however we recommend that during the months November to March that advance reservations are made. Each voucher is valid for one nights accommodation and if left open can be made directly with the property of your choice within the group and category of accommodation when you are in New Zealand.

Golden Chain Pass

Golden Chain provides a choice of over 85 affordable quality motels in 40 locations with a distinctly New Zealand style. Conveniently located throughout the country, Golden Chain motels are generally owner-operated and most are equipped with kitchen facilities. Laundry facilities are available and many of the motels offer swimming pools, sauna and spa's. Golden Chain's Blue Pass covers country motels, while most Gold Pass motels are in the cities.

Best Western

Best Western is the world's largest chain of independently owned and operated hotels, motels and motor inns. In New Zealand there are properties located in all major cities, towns and resort areas. They offer a high standard of professionalism and hospitality and participate fully in Best Western's world wide annual Quality Assurance Inspection Programme. Go Kiwi Pass

Go Kiwi offers 75 hotels ranging from 3 to 4.5 star standard providing affordable comfort and high standard of service at over 40 key city and resort locations. All rooms have private bathrooms with tea and coffee facilities. Most hotels have licensed restaurant and bar. The child 12 years of age and under sharing with adults and using existing bedding is free of charge. Go Kiwi Passes are available in four price bands: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Choice Hotels Australasia HotelPass

Choice Hotels Australasia is the largest group of hotels, inns, resorts and apartments in the Southern Hemisphere. Each property is individually owned and offers quality, service and hospitality, featuring a wide range of facilities, recreational amenities and restaurants. Two children under the age of 12, sharing with two adults and using existing bedding, stay free of charge. The Choice HotelPass is available in four price bands: Yellow, Green, Blue and Red.

Farm & Country Homestays

An opportunity to experience typical New Zealand rural family life on working farms or in private homes in country areas. You have your own bedroom but share all other facilities, breakfast and dinner with your hosts. Homes are chosen for their warmth, friendliness, comfort and cleanliness. Regular inspections are made to ensure standards are maintained.

Bed & Breakfast Passes

Enjoy real New Zealand hospitality from a wide choice of conveniently located, privately owned bed and breakfast properties. All have been carefully chosen to provide consistent levels of comfort and accommodation in two price bands; Standard offer a minimum of guest share bathroom, Superior offer either ensuite or private bathroom.
