Fiji
Fiji is located in the stunning South Pacific and is made up of 300 islands, two thirds of which are
uninhabited, one thousand miles of pristine white sand beaches, fabulous coral gardens and crystal
clear azure lagoons mirrored by the genuine warmth and friendly nature of the Fijian people. The 2
largest island are Viti Levu, where the capital Suva and Nadi International Airport are located,
and Vanu Levu which is situated to the North East. With international flights from Los Angeles, New
Zealand, Australia and other South Pacific Islands, Fiji is the easiest to visit within the Pacific.
English is the spoken language and the people are as warm and friendly as the climate, with roots
from many cultures; Fijian, Indian, Chinese and European. There is an excellent choice of accommodation
throughout Fiji, from the simply comfortable to 5 star hotels and luxurious island resorts. The islands
seldom suffer from the extremes of heat or cold. The mild dry season is from May to October, the warmer
and wetter phase from November to April. Activities abound within Fiji, both on and off shore and include;
4WD inland tours, horse riding, golf, diving, game fishing, water skiing to mention but a few.
