Tonga
Tonga is a group of 150 Polynesian islands lying some 650 kms east of Fiji and some 1,900 kms north of
New Zealand. A miniature kingdom in the heart of Polynesia, it is the first place on Earth to greet the
new day. The main island, Tongatapu, is home to the capital, Nuku'alofa, and the main airport, Fua'amotu.
Links to Samoa and Auckland are by Air New Zealand, with Royal Tongan flying to Fiji.
